In 1992, Tuscany was granted a bailment pool company status by the Ford Motor Company, an important competitive advantage in Tuscany's markets that allowed the Company to order vehicle chassis directly from Ford to complete the required conversion work. The pool chassis allows a converter to obtain chassis more quickly and at less cost than when ordering directly from a retail dealer. Tuscany has since become a leading manufacturer of luxury family vans, wheelchair accessible vans, shuttle vans and specialty trucks.
