Ford is launching a new on-demand Dynamic Shuttle service for Dearborn, Mich.-based employees this month, providing a new mobility solution featuring smart-hailing technology with premium customized mini-buses.

• Ford applied customer insights from emerging economies around the world, developing a software and customized Ford Transit with free Wi-Fi, USB charging and ample storage space
• Ford’s technology team created Dynamic Shuttle in-house, including the algorithm that makes the technical platform possible. Lessons from the Dearborn pilot could help Ford expand the service, including to delivery companies and emergency medical transportation
